Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Introduction

QueueFly ("we", "us", or "our") operates the QueueFly notification delivery infrastructure platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you under applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA").

For the purposes of the GDPR, QueueFly acts as the data controller for account and billing data collected through this website, and as a data processor for notification content and recipient tokens that our customers submit to the Service on behalf of their own end users.

2. Information We Collect

We keep data collection to what is strictly necessary to operate the Service. We do not use cookies or any browser-based tracking technology on this website.

  • Account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash) when you register.
  • Tenant & configuration data: tenant names, descriptions, and settings you create within the platform.
  • Billing data: billing name and transaction history. Card and bank details are entered directly into our payment processor's secure form and never touch our servers.
  • Service usage data: API request metadata, notification delivery status, and device/registration tokens supplied by you or your integrations, needed to route and confirm delivery of notifications.
  • Technical & log data: IP address, user agent, and timestamps captured in server request logs for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

We do not use cookies, browser local storage for tracking, third-party advertising pixels, or fingerprinting techniques on our website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above solely to:

  • Create and administer your account and tenants.
  • Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the QueueFly platform, including delivering push notifications on your behalf.
  • Process payments and maintain billing records.
  • Send essential service communications (security alerts, incident notices, and changes to this policy or our terms).
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not send marketing communications and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. No Cookies & No Website Tracking

This website does not set or read cookies, and we do not currently run any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. As a result, no cookie banner or consent mechanism is required.

Authentication uses a token stored in your browser's local storage solely to keep you signed in; it is not used for tracking and is never shared with third parties.

Should we introduce a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool in the future (e.g. Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal data), we will update this section beforehand and it will not change our no-cookie, no-tracking commitment.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose. We do not disclose your data to any third party except the limited infrastructure providers strictly necessary to run the Service, each bound by a data processing agreement and instructed to use your data only to provide their service to us:

  • Railway — cloud application hosting and infrastructure.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivery of push notifications to end-user devices.
  • Stripe — payment processing and billing (once payments are enabled).

We may also disclose limited information where required to comply with a valid legal obligation, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of QueueFly, our users, or the public. Outside of these narrow cases, no personal data is shared with any other party.

Some of these providers may process data on servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where personal data of EU/EEA residents is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard recognised under GDPR Chapter V.

6. Data Retention

Account and tenant data is retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of account closure, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. billing records for tax purposes). Server request logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes and then automatically deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only, and regular review of our infrastructure providers' security practices. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability).
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

9. Your Rights (U.S. / CCPA-CPRA)

If you are a California resident, or a resident of another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and request a copy of it.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out action is necessary.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
  • Designate an authorised agent to submit requests on your behalf.

To exercise any right under this section or Section 8, contact us at support@queuefly.com. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

QueueFly is a business-to-business developer platform and is not directed to, nor knowingly used by, children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 13 under COPPA in the United States). If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date above will always reflect the latest revision.
